Advice on technical applications

During the advisory consultation, we shall be able to support you with regard to

  • The optimum product selection for your brazing process,
  • The correct type of braze for your construction parts,
  • Suitable brazing processes including the required process parameters,
  • An analysis of your production processes.

Soldering tests

In our Brazing Center, multiple facilities are available to perform basic brazing tests on initial pilot parts:

  • Flame brazing facilities
  • Medium and high frequency induction systems
  • Inert gas ovens
  • Muffle furnaces
  • Vacuum furnaces

The quality of brazed joints can be analyzed using state-of-the-art methods and then subsequently evaluated:

  • Metallographic analyses
  • Light and electron microscopy
  • Thermal analyses
  • Element analysis
  • Determination of mechanical properties (hardness, strength)

Brazing seminars

In our Brazing Center we support you directly on site with brazing seminars, Web seminars as well as individually adapted training courses. The topics are, amongst other things:

  • Basics of brazing
  • The correct type of design and strengths of brazed joints
  • Brazing processes
  • Selecting brazing alloys and fluxes
  • etc.

Scientific exchange

The employees of our Brazing Center extend and share their knowledge at conferences, symposia and seminars held by various sponsors.
